LARZEP JOINS FPR AS AN OFFICIAL SUPPLIER
Ford Performance Racing (FPR) announces a technical support agreement with leading European hydraulic equipment manufacturer and marketer, Larzep.
The company was founded in 1940 in Spain and their premier quality hydraulic product range has been specifically designed to cover multiple industrial applications.
Larzep have a worldwide reputation for excellence that is supported by their extensive network of distributors and technical service centres that ensure total support and service coverage for their worldwide customers.
All Larzep products are tested to guarantee their working life and reliability. This process is supported by the Registered Firm Certificate ER-0404/1995 of UNE-EN ISO9001:2000 standard and the application of several European and international standards.
The Larzep product range includes hydraulic press systems, cylinders, pumps, jacks, accessories and all manner of tools to support any major workshop or specialist manufacturing requirements. As FPR’s technical headquarters is without a doubt Australia’s most advanced motor racing engineering facility, it is fitting that an alliance with one of the world’s leading hydraulic equipment suppliers has been formed.

Our unique remote pendant operated 120 tonne press has enhanced FPR’s capability to produce complicated and intricate pressings for the FPR Falcon V8 Supercars. FPR Factory and Production Manager Rodney Harlow believes that the use of Larzep hydraulic products will assist the team greatly during the 2007 season and beyond.

The Larzep 120 tonne press we are now using will significantly speed up our FPR Falcon V8 Supercar component manufacturing processes, enabling us to press thicker materials for better shape, definition and total quality.”
